I wear a jacket, helmet (of course), gloves, and jeans all the time. I feel like I get more respect from other riders when I wear my gear and that’s important to me. I won’t knock other riders for not wearing gear though. It’s just dangerous out there so you’ve got to be as safe as possible. It ultimately comes down to what you feel comfortable with.
I don’t care what u wear when u ride,to each its own,as long as u ride safe.Man,I live in GA so seein all these palm trees is crazy,great scenery while ridin.ride safe peace

Jacket and pants should cover arms and legs completely. They should fit snugly enough to keep from flapping in the wind, but still allow you to move freely. Leather or a sturdy synthetic material offers the most protection. Wear a jacket even in warm weather to prevent dehydration. Many are designed to protect without getting you overheated, even on summer days.

I’d never understood why are they so many lines randomly placed on the road on minute 6:00 for example… is that for any specific purpose or are they just like do not have any purpose at all?…

I fell going about 30 mph wearing a short sleeve shirt. Tore the shit out of my skin…….. Out of work for 3 weeks. Now I wear full gear. (well I generally only run on the track now so i wear full leathers lol)

I totally belive that people should be about to wear anything they like on a bike, or not wear things… You are a vlogger who is setting an example for people who perhaps are just getting into riding, who may not care about a jacket if they see you not wearing one. A policy I keep to is “all gear all the time” which is a personal choice, but if I was setting an example then I would stress it even further.
i have to do it.. i have top be the one guy who goes “no jacket??? jk jk XD”

It’s my choice to bag people who don’t wear gear. Natural selection, love it.
@2Ronin666 Actually, here in IL there arent an helmet laws but eye protection is required, so in effect IL is “more American than most?” lol, I always wear my melon bucket and gear when I go out, but every once and a while you’ll see some squid in board shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops with their oakleys or aviators. I always knock on my helmet and THEN wave when I pass one, lol. Cruisers are the worst at lack of gear here.
this is america…your entitled to wear what you want(except helmets…) I dont know when we all decided its ok to harass anyone who doesnt ride ATGATT. NEW RIDERS:well, shouldnt have to say this but it would be BEST for you to wear as much as possible,if your following others already i cant imagine you would last long. ITS the RIDERS skin,let him do what he wants with it.

I agree that gloves and helmet is enough, I personally stick with the jacket just to be safe

@twistedkeys1 If it’s road use, I say normal street bike stuff. Off road, used chest protectors and off road gloves.
